32 Weeks!

Well, it is June! Just a couple months to go now. Hard to believe that in 8ish weeks Kaylee will be here!

There has been some big changes for the Naugles. My company closed and my last day of work was June 4th. We only had about two weeks notice, which was weird and awkward. I miss my coworkers...they were a good bunch. So I am off for the summer. Financially we're ok which is the most important thing. I am actually working on going back to school. There are lots of programs available now to help people in declining industries become retrained in industries that are in demand. My hope is that unemployment will approve me to go back to school and continue my unemployment pay while I attend. Otherwise it will be back to the grind for me. So keep me in your thoughts/minds/prayers!

My friend Stef put on a great shower for me a couple weekends ago with all of my friends. It was so much fun and I loved seeing everyone. As I get older, I really appreciate the times when all of your nearest and dearest get together in one place. Live takes people in all different directions and pinning everyone down is hard sometimes. Stef made the amazing diaper cake (as seen above). Thank you Stef for everything! You are going to be a great auntie!! :)

Finally, Lance is done with his class for the quarter so he now he can focus on painting the baby's room and setting up the furniture - yay!! The first coat of paint went up and I love the color. Kind of a light buttery yellow. I'll post pictures as soon as it is put together.

I usually update the blog after I have my doctor's appointment (everything is still textbook by the way)...but now I will have appointments more often! So check back in a couple weeks.

What the baby is doing: By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds (pick up a large jicama) and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, she'll gain a third to half of her birth weight during the next 7 weeks as she fattens up for survival outside the womb. She now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). Her skin is becoming soft and smooth as she plumps up in preparation for birth

Weird Preggo Stuff: The baby has gone from pokes and jabs to rolling and rocking around. Sometimes she has hiccups...and other times she moves so suddenly I get the "rollercoaster" feeling!

Mind Blowing Thought of the Week: All those cute little clothes I got from my shower will eventually be worn by my baby!

What I miss: Being comfy in my bed. I think Lance is going to get really tired of sleeping on the couch with me. :)

What is exciting: Having time during the day to organize and clean. I have a lot more motivate then instead of coming home after being at work all day.

Upcoming Events: My 2nd baby shower this weekend hosted by my mom and mom-in-law. I can't wait!!
